Tidak ada instruksi peningkatan keamanan secara khusus menjelang Pilpres 2019.Pernyataan itu disampaikan Presiden Joko Widodo kepada pers di JI-Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta, Rabu (13/3).

“Ini sebenarnya dimulai dari pengungkapan teroris yang ada di Lampung. Jadi tidak ada kaitannya dengan pilpres," tegas Jokowi

Presiden menyampaikan keprihatinan yang mendalam atas timbulnya korban luka yang tidak hanya dari aparat keamanan tapi juga warga.

"Saya ikut prihatin atas terlukanya ada masyarakat maupun dari aparat kita karena bom yang meledak kemarin," ujar Jokowi.

Terkait peristiwa ini, Polri memastikan keamanan bagi Presiden Joko Widodo yang rencananya akan mengunjungi Sumatera Utara pada 15-17 Maret 2019 mendatang.

Kapolda Sumut Irjen Pol Agus Adrianto mengatakan, peristiwa ledakan bom hingga dua kali di Kota Sibolga itu tidak ada kaitan dengan kedatangan Presiden Jokowi ke provinsi tersebut. Pengamanan, tambah dia,  sudah dilakukan sesuai Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) Pasukan Pengamanan Presiden.

“Tidak ada kaitannya sama itu,kaitannya dengan pengembangan Lampung," tegas Agus kepada wartawan, Rabu (13/3). (kap/rin/nis)
